On Friday, June 16, 2017, 2017-2018 bus route information for all current BRRSD students will be uploaded to the Parent Portal at 3:00 p.m. All incoming Kindergarten student transportation information will be sent out via email as well as through the U.S. Postal Service. We ask that the parents/guardians of all bus students please review the 2017 -2018 bus stop locations and times. Please note that the bus routes have been reviewed by Lucini Bus Lines and the BRRSD Central Office Administrative Team, were driven and observed by the bus drivers, and were further reviewed by safety officials. Based upon the recommendations of these individuals, changes have been made as means of ensuring the safety of our bus students.

Frequently Asked Questions

The following is a list of questions that are frequently asked by B-RRHS library users.  Click on a question to jump to its answer.  If you do not find the answer to a question that you have, please feel free to ask the library staff for help.

How do I get a library card?  Library cards are not used at the BRRHS library.  All students' names are found on the circulation database

How do I get a pass to come to the library during study block?  You may get a pass every day before or after school.  No passes will be given after the 7:25 bell rings.  Passes are not needed to use the library after school.

How do I borrow and return library books?  Just bring the books you have chosen to the Circulation Desk which is located opposite the main entrance of the library.  The library staff will check out books to you.  Up to 10 books may be borrowed for 2 weeks.  Books may be renewed if there are no holds placed on them by another library patron.  When the library is open, you may return books at the Circulation Desk.  When the library is closed, you may return books through the return slot at the library entrance.  

What are my responsibilities when I check out library materials?  You are responsible to return library materials on time and in good condition for the next user.  A fine of 5 cents per day per book is charged for books returned after their due date.  Students are charged the cost of replacing lost or damaged books, plus a $5 processing fee per item.

How do I find books in the library?  The greatest resource for locating books in the library is the library staff.  Please feel free to ask questions of the staff - helping you find information is the main part of their job!  Library staff can show you how to use the library catalog and other databases available to you in the library.  The library catalog is accessible from every computer in the library, and since it is web-based, you can access it from your computer at home, too.

May I use computers in the library?  There are 24 computers for student use in the library.  Of course, computers are to be used for school purposes only, as you agreed when you signed our school's Acceptable Use Policy.  The library computer lab, which may be reserved by a teacher for class research, has an additional 32 computers.
