The mission of the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School District is to provide excellence in education for all students in a safe learning environment

The district, in partnership with its communities, will provide outstanding educational opportunities
and resources for all students to achieve academic excellence in order to realize their potential 
and to succeed as responsible citizens in a global society.

Strategic Initiatives

1.1/2.1 Develop a multi-tiered system of instruction and support that meets the academic, social, and emotional needs of students.

 

3.1 Revise the district technology plan that focuses on the infrastructure, access to and maintenance of devices, and educational programming.

4.1 Complete the MSBA process and make a decision regarding next steps.

 

1.2 Ensure students, staff, and families have access to programs, resources, and personnel that support their social-emotional and physical health and well-being.

2.2 Hire a PK -12 curriculum coordinator to work with staff to support teaching and learning throughout the District.

3.2 Hire a technology integration specialist and additional technology staff.

4.2 Implement maintenance plans that meet and/or exceed government and industry standards.

 

1.3 Provide professional development that supports social-emotional learning instruction.

2.3 Develop curriculum maps and assessments that will ensure vertical and horizontal alignment of curriculum.

3.3 Ensure equitable and appropriate access to technology for all students.

 

4.3 Develop environmentally friendly, efficient, and sustainable initiatives and programs

1.4 Maintain and improve security protocols and procedures throughout the district.

2.4 Review and revise the existing instructional framework.

3.4 Consistently use the learning management system as a platform for teaching and learning as well as to communicate with families student attendance and student achievement.

4.4 Establish and implement safety systems and protocols that support the school day and extended day use of the facilities.

 

2.5 Ensure all students have equitable access to educational and unified arts programming.

 

4.5 Revise, repair, and update high impact areas that include but are not limited to traffic patterns, parking, fields, gymnasiums, and auditoriums.

 

 

 

4.6 Ensure that current and future learning spaces support the needs of our evolving academic programs.

Outcomes

  • By the year 2023, 100% of the District’s technology will be upgraded, replaced, or recycled.
  • By the year 2023, the District will have seven educational facilities, fully functioning on a daily basis which follow regulatory guidelines for health and safety.
  • By the year 2023, all students will have access to a cohesive, rigorous system of teaching and learning that is aligned and equitable across the District.
  • By the year 2023, professional development will be provided annually to support the implementation and use of technology systems, social-emotional learning, and curriculum instruction/development.
  • By the year 2023, all students and staff will have access to district-wide programming, qualified staff, and resources which support social-emotional learning, physical and mental health, and the overall health and well-being of our students and staff.
