![]() Please Note: School Calendar Change The professional development days originally scheduled for October 9, 2009 and March 19, 2010 have been changed to December 8, 2009 and January 19, 2010, respectively. Students will have a full day of school on October 9, 2009 and March 19, 2010. There will be no school for students on December 8, 2009 and January 19, 2010. The ... Parent MCAS Nights at WIS Parent MCAS Nights will take place at the Williams Intermediate School. Parents of 5th and 6th Graders are invited on Tuesday, February 9th from 6:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. and parents of 4th Graders are invited on Wednesday, February 10th form 6:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. Both programs will take place in the Cafeteria. Grade 6 Assembly at WIS Grade 6 Students at the Williams Intermediate School will view a presentation from Camfel Productions entitled "Trust Me". The presentation focuses on positive character traits and the importance of taking responsibility for our own actions. WIS MCAS Testing MCAS Testing at WIS will begin on March 22 and continue through March 25 for all grades. Grade 4 will have the Reading Comprehension test on March 31 and April 1. Friends of Williams Yankee Candle Fundraiser The Friends of Williams will sponsor a Yankee Candle Fundraiser from March 1st until March 12th. One Book One Community The Williams Intermediate School, along with other schools in the district and members of the community, will take part in One Book One Community. This is a community wide book club centered on the book "Three Cups of Tea" by David Oliver Relin as told by Greg Mortenson. Further information will be passed along as events and act... |
